ella is 6 months old today!

ella had her 6 month check-up today. she weighed 14.8lbs, was 25 1/4" long, and 17 1/4" for her head circumfrence. She's our cute little petite girl, 25 %tile for heigth and weight and 70%tile for head circumference, so like her momma she's all brains!

Sleeping through the night

I recently returned to work part-time and wouldm't you know it Ella has only been sleeping 3 hours at a time. During the summer she was sleeping 5 hours at a time and we thought it would be easy to get her to sleep through the night but we were wrong. We've tried giving her rice cereal, a bath, taking her on a walk, having her sleep in her own bed, etc. and no such luck. Tonight we're letting her "cry it out" and man oh man it is hard. It's midnight and she's been crying for about 40 minutes but I think she's out, so we'll see how the rest of the night goes. Wish us luck!

I finally did it!

Well after several family and friends begging me to start a blog I decided to do it. With Becky and Shelly not here to see all the neat things that Ella is doing everyday I thought what better way to share with them and all our family and friends than to start a blog so here I go. I'm going to TRY(key word TRY) to download a couple videos we took of her this summer. Hope you enjoy it!
